I read your body work section and related in that I too am almost done with mine. I even had to make parts as they are unavailable. I am 85% done and can't wait to get it painted.
Asked what have I fixed, I say it is easier to tell them what I have not fixed.

Brillant,
AHS was my first go (6months to restore. MGB second go (took 8 years) MGB.GT restoring at the moment (only started 2002 finishing point open. MGB.GT 70 sitting in carport waiting for time/money for it.
I have found out that you can spend a lot of money, but in the end its worth it.

Just got the car - it hasn't run in 10+ years and it needs quite a bit of work (mainly mechanical). It will be a project for my son and I to learn about car repair. Great site and very inspirational. It gives me hope that we can get it running again!

Just bought the new 'baby' and sure this site will be a Bible for our hopeful restoration. Thanks for your hard work in creating it.
What's the most anyone has spent on restoring their GT to 'as new' condition ??

It's a fantastic pleasure to read your story and viewing your pics. There's a very british sense of humour in your style of writing and no fucking about when describing the problems with restoring a car without any previous experience.

Hi there. Have a leak in both footwells which appears to be coolant leak. Am I looking at potential need to renew heater. Anyone had similar experience please?
