Just found this website today...really useful but I have one particular problem regarding the braking system that I was hoping someone could give me some advice on. Myself and a friend have tried three times to bleed the brake system on my MG but have not been successful. We have tried various combinations of ''Easibleed'' kits, jam jars and brute force...have tried bleeding one brake at a time, two at a time etc etc etc. We have got to the point where we are sure that there cannot be an airlock in the system but the brakes are still spongy. The only thing we can think of is that the air is still in the servo - the only part of the system that we have not attacked. Is this possible/likely? If so, what is the procedure that we should follow? Is it okay just to take the servo apart and flush it through? Am I talking twaddle and on the wrong track?
Any help that anyone could offer would be VERY much appreciated

Just the website I was looking for! My BGT is very much an everyday car but is at present undergoing an engine rebuild. Other MG enthusiats add this site to your favorites!

this is the first reasonably comprehensible MG site I have run across! I bought my ''70 GT for $500 and I, too, am a poor college student and my car is now rusting even more (I don''t know if that is possible) in a garage 170 miles away! unfortunately I have no garage to keep it in which makes it difficult to work on.
