I was horrified to realise earlier that it’s almost a year since I published my last post here, so as winter draws in I will be making an effort to finish off some unpublished drafts and write up the latest jobs I’ve completed to bring things right up to date. It honestly seems like no time at all since I last posted here, but in my defence it’s been quite a busy year for me. My baby daughter arrived in the spring, and I changed jobs in the summer, so between focusing on those two factors my garage (and blogging) time has been severely diminished unfortunately. That’s not to say I haven’t been in the garage at all though – the car has come a long way since my last post, as these sneak peek photos show (and you might have already seen more real-time progress if you follow my Instagram page).
It has wheels, it has a running engine, it has an interior, and is finally moving into the realm of “finishing touches”, so hopefully – spare time allowing – it will be back on the road in time for the good weather returning. Stay tuned!
G’day Will!
I wanted to firstly thank you for the fantastic blog that you have put together here. This would have to be one of the best step by step stories that I have come across. It is a real asset to the MGB community.
Keep up the great work!
Dave
Thanks a lot Dave, glad you find it interesting.
Have you still got the jig, and is it for sale at a reasonable price for a fellow restorer.
Thanks
John
Hi John, I do still have it, but it’s just about to be put back into service on my new Mini project I’m afraid, so will be hanging onto it for a fair while yet. Regards, Will
