...for now at least. As I write these notes my car has been back on the road for over a year and is still going strong without a hitch (although she's now hibernating for the winter period). It was a very nerve-racking experience driving the car again after such an extensive amount of work. When you push the accelerator and hit 60mph for the first time the mind does tend to wander back to all those bolts you tightened when rebuilding the suspension for example, and whether you tightened them just enough...! I've got used to it now of course and have great confidence in driving the car, it's great to be able to enjoy it. Restoring a car like this will pretty much take over your life for a while, but it's an experience I would recommend to anyone.
